SCOPE
The challenge is about the future of transport and mobility. A transition of traffic, transport and mobility is needed. Which social, economics, spatial and technological developments influence transport and mobility, and in what way? Give your idea. Or which innovative technological products help to shape transport and mobility and hence society in a sustainable way?
PURPOSE
The purpose of the challenge is helping the city of Roermond to make their dreams come true. The ideas, designs and/or essays can of course be transferable into a broader area.
The (mobility) VISION/DREAM of Roermond:
“Roermond is a dynamic city where everyone is welcome and very much wants to be there. The thereby offering smart mobility has a stimulating effect on all aspects of society. Our residents feel comfortable in their daily lives, visitors like to come to Roermond and our entrepreneurs are facilitated in their entrepreneurship. We do not only look at the city, but also at the role we fulfill in the (EU)region. We’re heading for a better, vital and mobile society. Our so-called ‘DNA’ in three words are: enterprising, social and hospitable".
REWARDS
Everyone can participate in this Mobility & Transport Innovation Challenge Roermond.
The winner will get a €5.000 reward (€1.500 for the Youth Award) and will get the opportunity to fund the winning idea and develop it further into a possible solution for a better, vital and mobile Roermond/society.

A FABULOUS CONGRESS
On Thursday 18th of May we’ll have a great boostcamp congress in Roermond, The Netherlands. The purpose here is promoting the winning idea’s, marketing of them, and some more surprises. Definite program around 15th of March 2017.
