The Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE) is a two-year part-time Master's course for built environment professionals, offered by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and supported by the Departments of Architecture and Engineering. The Master’s attracts candidates looking to expand their understanding of global challenges and opportunities facing the industry. The programme equips professionals for strategic decision-making, inventive problem solving and evidence-based design and provides the skills and confidence to support and lead interdisciplinary design teams.

The competition is for one £8,000 scholarship (50 per cent) for a place on the IDBE programme starting September 2017. The Combined Graduate Fee for the course is £8,001 per year, i.e. £16,002 in total. The scholarship will cover 50 per cent of the total fee for the two-year course (£4000 in the first year, £4000 in the second year), for entry in September 2017.
