Florence, ITRelated
VIBEARCH is a vibrating environment that foster ideas, suggestions, mutations and emerging developments for creative applications that encompass communication, technology and architecture; encouraging a communication on the changes happening around us.
IT IS AN IMMERSIVE FIVE-DAYS PROGRAM TO PROVIDE THE PARTICIPANTS ADVANCED DIGITAL STRATEGIES AND PROJECT COMMUNICATION ABLE TO BE INTEGRATED IT IN THEIR’S SKILLS AND DESIGN WORKFLOW. THE CORE AIM IS TO GIVE THE PARTICIPANTS THE POSSIBILITY TO EXPLORE NEW APPROACHES , ENHANCE THEIRS SKILLS, TO LEARN NEW METHODS , ADVANCE RESEARCHES AS WELL AS POTENTIAL PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF DIGITAL DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATION LANGUAGES.
An international event that bring in Florence different visions of contemporary emerging talents, researchers and professionals that are investigating new design tools, strategies, processes and design innovations around Architecture and Visualization languages. A call to students and professionals to explore new approaches to design and communicate the project, using innovatory tools , with the aim to advance researches as well as potential practical applications of high-quality Digital Design and Architectural Visualization languages.
FIVE-DAYS FULL PROGRAM
______Workshop
1 26th __ 27th JUNE 2017
Art
Direction in Architecture and Visual Communication
Thaught
by Karim Mousa El Ramly - M o z s e s
There are several goals from this workshop but the core aim is to show how to be a designer and not just a renderer. How to explore striking visual narratives and experiences while highlighting the main architectural design intent and defining the best out of it. How to create fast track draft visual directions that resembles a story board for the client to select the best directions from. How to communicate your ideas efficiently and sell it to the clients. How to build a strong relation with the clients that eventually gives you the freedom and the trust to explore unique visual languages. VISUAL COMMUNICATION . ART DIRECTION . STORYTELLING . UNIQUE VISUAL LANGUAGES
______Workshop
2 28th JUNE 2017
DESIGN
STRATEGIES with MAYA Autodesk
Thaught
by Davide Del Giudice - Zaha Hadid
Architects
Due to its potential Maya Autodesk is one of the resourceful tool of contemporary discussions of formal exploration in Architecture and Design. The workshop will be an opportunity for architects, students of architecture and designers to explore strategies to design in Maya , systematically with complex geometries following a professional workflow and to be ready to design a massing model for a concept phase or to design the own product design.Receive an overall of Autodesk Maya finalized to work with low‐poly mesh and basic/advanced tools in order to have a final high density mesh ready to be exported in Rhino or 3d printed.A final key exercise will investigate the potential of an high density mesh towards geometrical exploration and designing performance for the output of a FACADE DESIGN LAYOUT for a TOWER. 3 29th __ 30th JUNE 2017
EMBODIED
FORCES
Thaught
by Alessio Erioli – Co-de-iT
Computational
design can be exploited to infuse behavioral qualities of material
systems directly in the design medium, thus transcend the limits of
simple representation and/or one-way parametric control, and using
forces in a twofold way: harness embedded performance rationales
(structural, thermal, etc.) and incorporating those behaviors as
operating procedures that keep the design in an active state,
progressively achieving stability through iterative human-software
dialog. This results in increasing levels of resolution that remap
the traditional tectonic hierarchies infusing them throughout several
system scales. Participants will learn how to interweave intuitively
simple 3D modeling operations with strategies for parametric control
of the model’s geometry through Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper,
simulating material systems and forces with the help of its plugins
Kangaroo and Millipede.
