INDO-EURO WORKSHOP-II @ 25, 26, 27 SEPTEMBER 2017 - INDIA
Thinking Hand aims to bring awareness on design and its processes through design workshops. It is a platform to learn, exhibit and share ideas/experiences through design. Learning from others and learning through self-exploration is the main motto.
Thinking Hand Workshops reflect on the importance of design as a profession and inculcates sensitivity towards nature and people thus making participants understand the context thereby allowing them to create design solutions accordingly.
These workshops would be more informal in nature fostering discussion, entertaining the views of all the creative individuals coming out of their ingenuity and labour to solve the challenge. Emphasis would be on harnessing collaborative learning and positive innovations.
Participants will be enhancing their skills in expressing ideas such as sketching, drawing and model making. It also develops eclecticism in the participants by bridging the gap between Participant’s imagination and the outcome he/she produces – thus the THINKING HAND (a design practicum series)
For the first time THINKING HAND and UNIVERSITY OF INNSBRUCK are collaborating for INDO - EURO WORKSHOP – II. It is a Three-day event with a maximum intake of 40 students (20 students from Europe and 20 from India).
Selection shall be based on portfolio. Pedagogy will be more of casual discussions, without any restrictions on methodology of design and working. Students may present their work in various ways, sketching, drawing and models.
