Billes Architecture Home Design Competition Has 5 Student Winners

By Bustler Editors|

Thursday, Apr 23, 2009

New Orleans-based Billes Architecture selected some of the top design schools in North America to participate in a student competition for new home designs for the Gulf Coast of the United States. The original designs had to be contemporary, innovative, and sustainable.

The entries came in on March 6th, 2009, and after a rigorous review by Billes Architecture’s in-house team and several guest judges, ten finalist designs were selected. The designers of the ten homes were then flown to New Orleans, Louisiana for the final event on April 11, 2009. During the Awards Presentation, five winners were announced and presented with a $1,000 prize each.

All of the finalists are now eligible to have their home design built and marketed by Billes Architecture.

These are the five winning designs:

Forever Green
David Dworkind and Andrew Hruby
