Northern Harbour, Copenhagen: The Sustainable City Of The Future
Register/Submit: Friday, September 26, 2008

In late May 2008, the Port and City Development Corporation and the City of Copenhagen will launch an open international ideas competition for the Northern Harbour in Copenhagen, a new urban development area with room for 40,000 residents and 40,000 staff in buildings with a total floor area of three to four million square metres.

The vision for this unique site, which features waterfronts on three sides, is to create a dynamic, lively and sustainable city district with diverse, effervescent life and room for a broad mix of residents and enterprises.

The competition is open to everyone, but is in particular aimed at urban planners, architects, landscape architects and traffic planners, who are very welcome to collaborate with experts in special fields, eg sustainability.

I found how to get the drawings. You have to pay to get them! Not sure why they call this a free entry competition if you have to pay to get the files.

So, this is where you find it.

Go to http://www.cben.net
Then go to 3rd page in the Site Plans section and the file name is as follows:

kobenhavns amt 2003.dwg

It's crazy! It has the whole region drawn, but it definitely has the Nordhaven are drawn.

Enjoy!

This is where you find them.

http://www.cben.net/
then you go to the "site plans" section and click on page 3. The file name is kobenhavns amt 2003.dwg. You could probably just search for the file name.

Just as a warning, this is a 2d drawing only of the whole region (including detail in Nordhaven). I am still looking for a 3d drawing. If anyone knows where to get this, please(!) let me know.
