Kelly Mason Plus a silent art auction of works by Judie Bamber, Bjorn Copeland, Meg Cranston, Aaron Curry, Roy Dowell, Karl Haendel, C. Taft Green, Patrick Hill, Louise Lawler, JP Munroe, Steve Roden and more! Join us this summer for live sets from Albert Ortega, Steve Roden, Unrecognizable Now and White Rainbow plus dublab djs and video projections by Jessica Bronson, Cal Crawford and Jennifer West among others in the historic Looff Hippodrome carousel building on the Santa Monica Pier. And this Sunday, spend the afternoon sipping campari and enjoying great food and music while making "Tonalism" and other fun SASSAS events possible. The Society for the Activation of Social Space through Art and Sound (SASSAS) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves as a catalyst for the creation, presentation and recognition of experimental art and sound practices in the Greater Los Angeles area. Programs include sound. at the Schindler House; sound. at the REDCAT; sound. workshops; soundNet.org, an online concert archive; and soundNet recordings, CD compilations drawn from sound. concerts. SASSAS is supported in part through grants from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the City of West Hollywood Arts Commission, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts.
