PICNIC AT THE TEMPLE - exploring the interaction between architecture, art and landscape. It will be held in Sicily, Italy (in San Michele di Ganzaria), May 6 to 11, 2008. The workshop is open to the participation of Italian and foreign students and newly graduates in Architecture. There will be 5 parallel experiences for the participants: the PICPAPERS (writing and graphic design), aimed at the production of an instantaneous newspaper and a final publication, the PICMOVIES (video), the PICSHOTS (photography), the PICDESIGNs and the PICDISPLAYs, aimed at projecting little exhibitions on a daily basis and a final display. The workshops will be led by architects, video makers, landscape artists, communication experts. Among them, Marco Brizzi, Mario Lupano, Peppe Maisto, François Mechain, Matteo Mocchi, Simone Muscolino (Id-Lab), Marco Navarra, Luca Poncellini (NABA), Gianluigi Ricuperati, Alessandro Rocca, Armin Schubert, Weis and De Mattia (M+M). Among the special guests, Stefano Boeri and Stefano Mirti.
