Where:  Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day School, 240 Second Avenue
When:   Thursday, September 25, 2008

Branding campaigns such as I ♥ NY have been seared into our collective memory. But aside from their successful dissemination, who has benefitted most from these efforts? CUP is pleased to present an evening on New York City branding campaigns of past and present. Miriam Greenberg, author of “Branding New York City: How a City in Crisis was Sold to the World”, will be interviewing Willy Wong from NYC & Company, the City of New York’s official marketing organization. They will look into the politics of urban representation and the role of branding in urban redevelopment.
