Morpholio announced today the winners of their INSIDE2015 competition, which promotes the research, exploration, and investigation currently happening in academia and today's emerging talent. It also highlights the increasing dependence of the design process on social networking, cloud technology, and device culture, and it challenges the notion of how one shoud distinguish oneself in today's online realm. As an "experiment of distributed intelligence", INSIDE allows entrants to see and understand how their work is experienced and interpreted by others.
Entrants submitted up to three digital images of their "inside" work, which were then evaluated by a notable jury panel -- with this year's jury including founder of Bustler and its sister site Archinect, Paul Petrunia!
The competition has two categories: Emerging Talent (young professionals) and Future Voices (students). After entrants publicly shared their "inside" work through the Morpholio app, finalists were selected based on the guest jury's decision and crowdsourcing data in a two-stage public-viewing competition called EyeTime. Winners were then chosen in both categories, Special Recognition, and the public-viewing EyeTime competition.
