Virtual Reality & The Built Environment | June 22
This is an opportunity to learn more and to see a demonstration of how virtual reality is becoming more of an integral part of the architectural field. This technology has the potential to transform the way that design decisions are made, and how the public are able to interact with schemes in early stages. This is an open & free event from VMI studio and hosted by This Is Mission. For those interested in technological development, this is sure to be an exciting event, however it is vital to book your place to avoid disappointment.

Re/making the Street | Open now until June 29
The Building centre is hosting this fantastic exhibition centred around what it means to make a successful public street. The themes and issues covered here delve into the depths of public planning history, exploring post-war successes and failures. “The exhibition features as its centrepiece an installation that deconstructs the design and planning behind one street. Visitors get to walk through a scale model of Bonchurch Road, a new London street which encapsulates the complexity of our built environment. This installation is used as a platform to explore the design elements that make help make streets healthy spaces with flourishing, cohesive communities - yet dense enough to meet our housing needs.”
