Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715–2015 | Open now until August 21, recommended by Amelia Taylor-Hochberg
Take a long look at over 200 menswear looks from LACMA's collection, featuring 300 years of design history in fashion. From the influence of uniforms to the exploration of gender identity, the exhibition is a rich showcase of how men fashion has helped create the modern man.

James Turrell’s Light Reignfall | Open now until May 29, 2017, recommended by Alexander Walter
Ready to lie down on a narrow bed and be pushed into an enclosed spherical chamber where flickering lights will shower you? If you're hesitating, rest assured that this is all part of the immersive installation Light Reignfall Perceptual Cell by famed light artist James Turrell. Described as an "intense experience," the highly intimate piece is currently awaiting participation at LACMA's Resnick Pavilion.

With more than 60 million displaced worldwide, this exhibition sheds light on one of the most pressing issues of contemporary society. This poignant photo exhibition at the Annenberg Space for Photography portrays the survival tales and the hopeful (and relatable) dreams of refugees who are dispersed and displaced across the world, captured by five globally acclaimed artists.

MONKEY TOWN - an immersive film and culinary experience | Open now until October 1, recommended by Paul Petrunia
MONKEY TOWN, an event not new to New Yorkers, offers a 2 hour dining and film experience sited inside a cinema-in-the-round. This temporary performance piece has been located in downtown LA, from June 1st, and will run until October 1st.
