Nature’s Gateway Reimagined. Final registration deadline approaching!

By Sponsor|

Tuesday, Mar 13, 2018

The Pape Nature Park in Latvia is home to some of the most diverse and awe inspiring wildlife in Europe. The park is a migratory stops for thousands upon thousands of birds, and its conservation efforts have even seen several species reintroduced into the region. Wild horses, once driven from these lands by agriculture and human settlements, have found a safe home within the confines of the sprawling park grounds.

The Pape Nature Park is a unique and iconic part of the Latvian landscape, and as such requires a suitable entrance that welcomes visitors. Working in collaboration with a “Pasaules Dabas Fonds”, the official WWF associate partner in Latvia, Bee Breeders architecture competition organisers are searching for designs for an entrance to the park.

With features like picnic and camping grounds, this entrance needs to be a fitting gateway to the wonderful world of nature that awaits guest when they arrive. With winning designs being put forward for consideration for construction, the jury panel will be selecting a winner to receive a prize fund of US$ 6,000 after the closing date of April 18, 2018.
