It's down to the final week of Tu casa es mi casa. This exhibition connects two modernist houses in Los Angeles and Mexico City via the exchange of texts, objects, and installations by contemporary writers and architects/artists. Installed in Richard Neutra’s VDL Research House in Los Angeles and in collaboration with Mexico City–based gallery Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, Tu casa es mi casa grapples with questions about architectural space, mass production, and domesticity within the legacy of modernism.
For the inaugural Japan House Los Angeles exhibition, we introduce works from the fashion label ANREALAGE and designer Kunihiko Morinaga, one of a vanguard of next generation Japanese innovators...A LIGHT UN LIGHT features ANREALAGE designs on the theme of light, inviting new ways of seeing and integrating materials and techniques from illusions of light and perspective to photosensitive fabrics.
