The wonders of nature should be made available to all, not just those that are more physically-abled than others. Accessibility is at the heart of the Kemeri National Park Observation Tower competition, in which participants are tasked with designing an observation tower along the park’s Great Kemeri Bog Boardwalk.
With innumerable species of animals, plants and birds indigenous to the park, it is an opportunity for nature lovers to view the wildlife up close. With disability and wheelchair access a prerequisite of all submissions, the organisers, Bee Breeders, are looking for inspired creativity in exploring new options of accessibility.
The tower’s purpose is to offer incredible views of the magnificent landscape for all visitors, with winners being announced on June 15, 2018 (final registration deadline April 27, 2018). Be sure to visit kemeritower.beebreeders.com for further information.
