Customer Innovation Centre, Reading

The centre will showcase how Johnson Matthey applies cutting edge science to create innovative, sustainable solutions to its customers’ complex problems. The preferred site for this new centre is at Johnson Matthey’s Sonning Common facility, near Reading. At the first phase, Expressions of Interest are invited from innovative, multi-disciplinary design teams. It is intended that a shortlist of four design teams will be selected to prepare initial concept design proposals.

New Hungarian Museum of Transport
Registration Deadline: Monday, Sep 10, 2018
Submission Deadline: Monday, Jan 21, 2019
To find the best design team for this complex task, the Hungarian Museum of Transport launched an international competition. Eleven architectural firms were directly invited based on their reputation in museum design, heritage redevelopment and urban planning. The remaining positions are open for architects from all over the world. A final list of 15 applicants will be announced after the pre-qualification phase.

WILDERNESS PAVILION I KENYA

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, Oct 31, 2018
The aim of the competition is to design a free standing pavilion in the heart of Amboseli National park that would allow visitors new ways to view and experience the wilderness and be close to nature. The proposal must be a poetic response for a pavilion structure in a very sensitive environment that would become the ‘eyes and ears’ for visitors who want to connect with the natural ecosystem.

Arquine Convoca./ Competition No. 21 MEXTRÓPOLI No. 21 2019 Pavilion

Arquine presents a call for the construction of a pavilion that will be exhibited during MEXTRÓPOLI, the Architecture and City Festival 2019 edition. For four years now, the competition has called not only for the presentation of ideas but also for the construction of a pavilion that is an activator of social interactions and that is made of recyclable materials.
