Nuclear Family | Opening on October 18, recommended by Nicholas Korody
1.5 Rooms is a brand new, Graham Foundation-supported gallery that fosters dialogue between the architecture community and the art world. They have an amazing program lined up for this year, starting with their inaugural exhibit "Nuclear Family". "Wrought from the detritus of post-war American industry and the myth of a singular family unit, the show mines the fertile garbage we’ve inherited," they state. Curated in part by GRNASFCK, 1.5 Rooms promises to be an epicenter of cross-disciplinary conversation on the contemporary context.
