XTEN Architecture is an award-winning architecture firm based in Los Angeles, California and Sissach, Switzerland, led by Monika Häfelfinger SIA and Scott Utterstrom AIA. Founded in 2000 by partners Monika Häfelfinger SIA and Austin Kelly AIA, XTEN Architecture is a full service architecture and design firm specializing in custom residential, cultural, institutional and commercial buildings. Architectural designs are developed using innovative materials, advanced structural strategies, sustainable technologies, and guided from schematic design through the successful completion of construction.

On June 10th, the firm will hold an Open Studio event showcasing current design work as well as the unique space in which it is developed – a former warehouse that opens to Ballona Creek, receiving abundant light and air. Light refreshments will be provided.
