Curated by Naomi Frangos, this exhibition features prototypes exploring variable formwork in fabric form concrete to design school playscapes. The work shown was produced by students from a 5 day intensive workshop between NYIT School of Architecture and Design and Cal Poly Pomona Department of Landscape Architecture led by Associate Professor Naomi Frangos, Assistant Professor Rennie Tang, and international material experts: Ronnie Araya, architect and former professor and researcher from CAST lab in University of Manitoba, and Remo Pedreschi, director of the M.Sc. in Material Practice program in the Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh.
