Knowledge Architecture will be hosting KA Connect 2010, a knowledge management conference for the AEC industry, in Chicago on April 8th and 9th, 2010. What Is KA Connect? KA Connect is a knowledge management conference and community for the AEC industry. Sharing Knowledge A diverse group of speakers, sponsors, and attendees will share emerging trends, new strategies, case studies, and lessons learned for building knowledge-driven firms. Firm leaders, industry analysts, academics, management consultants and software vendors who want to share their insights and learn from their peers should attend KA Connect 2010. Building Knowledge The mission of KA Connect is to serve as a platform for building knowledge. We define knowledge management as "the process of systematically creating, capturing, and sharing knowledge assets to leverage yourself and your organization." Through our hybrid format of short talks, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and commitment to record and release our Blue Sky and Pecha Kucha talks via the web -- we will leverage the conference to move beyond simply sharing knowledge to create and capture new knowledge assets. These video assets will be available on the KA Connect website as an ongoing resource for knowledge management best practices for the AEC industry.
