Docomomo US Tour Day

Docomomo US is pleased to announce the 6th annual national Tour Day featuring architectural tours of buildings and interiors of the Modern Movement on October 6, 2012, and continuing throughout the week. Exclusive programs, lectures and tours will be hosted throughout the country by Docomomo US chapters as well as regional and national affiliate partners. Tour Day seeks to raise the awareness of and appreciation for buildings, interiors, neighborhoods and landscapes designed in the United States during the mid-20th century. We invite organizations and people across the country to celebrate and showcase significant 20th century built design in their state, city, region or neighborhood. Docomomo US is proud to state that Tour Day has become one of the largest national events devoted to the appreciation of American architecture.
