Join the Housing and Custom Residential (H&CR;) Knowledge Community, the Association for Community Design and AIA Arizona for a symposium focusing on innovative and collaborative efforts that are tackling housing affordability and creating thriving residential developments and communities. Presentations and workshops at the symposium will address topics such as: mixed-income developments; design and advocacy; sustainable and inclusive design for affordable housing; housing design education in the schools; among others. A half-day of tours to residential sites that illustrate the ideas and issues covered in the symposium will take place on the final day. Sessions will be held at Phoenix Urban Research Laboratory (PURL) in Phoenix, Arizona. Participants will be eligible to earn up to 10 AIA Continuing Education System (CES) learning units for attending this symposium. Participants will also be eligible to earn APA credits.
