Controversy Regarding Dwell Magazine's Infinity Design Challenge Competition

By Bustler Editors|

Wednesday, Apr 25, 2007

From Archinect:

Dwell Magazine has been receiving a lot of criticism for undervaluing the role of design in the sponsorship of the The Infinity Design Challenge: San Francisco competition.  Apparently, the goal is to help the developers and architects design a luxury apartment.  Prize for the winners: nothing, except the opportunity to do the work.  This is not new in the design world but it seems that a lot of people agree that Dwell should not be supporting this type of design solicitation.  Post your comments here or here, if you have an opinion on the matter.
