Results Selection 4th Festival of Lively Architecture Montpellier

For the fourth consecutive year in Languedoc Roussillon, France, lively architecture will penetrate and appropriate themselves courtyards of private mansions of downtown Montpellier.

Ten teams were selected by a jury composed of architects, journalists, and participants from the past edition of the Festival of Lively Architecture.

The association received over 110 applications, from from France, England, America, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Netherlands, Thailand, Canada, Japan, Italy, South America, Austria, Finland.

An eleventh courtyard will welcome an lively architecture conceived and realized by an invited school. This year the association Champ Libre invited the Departement of Architecture of the TOHOKU UNIVERSITY of Sendai, Japan.

The students will work under the supervision of Masashige MOTOE and Tohru HORIGUCHI, architect and professors at the Tohoku University.
