Best Awards Honor New Zealand's Finest Designs

Gold Award: Ironbank by RTA Studio

New Zealand's best designers and their projects were recently honored with the 2010 Best Design Awards in the four categories Graphic, Interactive, Product, and Spatial.

The National Graphic Design Awards were established in the mid seventies to celebrate New Zealand’s best graphic design. Over the years, the award spectrum was expanded to other disciplines beyond the graphic design field. Attracting 300 entries, the awards exhibited 130 works as part of a touring exhibition and lecture series.

Following is a small selection of our favorite winners in the Spatial category:

Gold Award: Coffee Supreme: Customs Brew Bar by Jasmax

Gold Award: The Research Agency by jose gutierrez ltd

Silver Award: The Paper Sky by OH.NO.SUMO

Silver Award: 8 Canada Street by Wingate+Farquhar

Bronze Award: The George Hotel Christchurch by Warren and Mahoney

Bronze Award: BANGALORE POLO CLUB by SKYRING

Silver Award: National Library of New Zealand by Jasmax
