RISCO architects has been awarded first prize in the design competition for Seixal riverside, Portugal.
RISCO’s urban design concept seeking to upgrade the Seixal historical core riverside, namely Square May 1, Republic Square and Seixal Garden, stood out because of its simplicity.
The spatial concept is based on a comprehensive program with a focus on creating room for pedestrians and cycling along the Tagus River, reorganizing automotive access, and enhancing the various existing public spaces.
