OPEN CALL: Designing Resilience Open Competition 2017

Call for entries: Design competition for students, architects, urban designers, planners, landscape designers, engineers and NGOs

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 17 JULY 2017, 11:59PM (GMT+8)

• 1x A4 Written Report, Abstract (max. 300 words), General Description (750-1500 words), DOC   
• 1x Team Biographies (max. 200 word per member), max. 5 members per team

THEME: DROUGHTS & WATER SCARCITY

Resilience: The capacity of Individuals, communities and systems to survive, adapt and grow in the face of stress and shocks, and even transform when conditions require it.

The inaugural 2017 DRIA International Open Competition is organised by the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. It encourages participants to propose innovative WATER SOLUTIONS at the urban planning, urban design, architecture, building technology or the industrial design scales to tackle the challenge of 'DROUGHTS & WATER SCARCITY' in our cities, neighborhoods and communities.

• 3^rd Prize – Cash SGD 1,000
• 7 Special Mentions
• All winners will be published on DRIA website and in DRIA 2018 Publication

FEE
