The name ‘Thorb’ stands for ‘The House of Revolutionary Building’.

Thorb is an initiative supported by BAM Wonen, Eigen Haard and AM.

With the Reinvent the Habitat challenge (reinventthehabitat.com), Thorb is calling on all those who have a unique, revolutionary perspective on building, materials and housing to participate. Absolutely anyone can join in!

Thorb will build prototypes of the three most promising concepts at ‘The Green Village’ in Delft in The Netherlands. Thorb will then determine what might be necessary to scale the concept up to large volumes.

The Reinvent the Habitat registration period runs from 28 November 2017 until 31 January 2018.
