Association for Women in Architecture Foundation Professional Development Fellowship 2019

The Association for Women in Architecture Foundation (AWAF) celebrates professional women in architecture and allied fields by awarding an annual Professional Development Fellowship to mid-career women in Southern California with a minimum of 10 years in their profession. The Professional Development Fellowship is awarded based on merit. The award amount is $2500, to be awarded at a reception in Los Angeles on May 18, 2019.

The fellowship provides the opportunity to facilitate research, study, writing and other forms of continued contribution to the profession. Professional Development Fellowship Award winners will present the results of their research at the annual awards event as well as provide a document, presentation, blog, media or alternate format representing the results of the topic.  The result of the work must be completed within one year and presented in conjunction with the annual AWAF Awards event.
