UWACTE – Networking Evening for Women in the industry

A networking evening launching Urbano Women In Architecture Construction Technology & Engineering (UWACTE).

Timed to celebrate The London Festival of Architecture, the event is supported by one of LFA's patrons, and Urbano Member Company, Elliott Wood. It also celebrates Urbano's 7th anniversary.

Since our first events in the summer of 2011, around 50% of an Urbano Build event audience have been female, many running their own companies or with senior positions at larger companies. And in 2018 to date, all our speakers have so far have been women covering topics including BIM, Sustainability, Design, Workplace Wellbeing and Leadership.

UWACTE, our new Community, will sit along the established Build Community and allow us to foster deeper connections between women across the relevant sectors and specialisms.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The event will be hosted by Caroline Brock, Co-Director of Urbano.

Our venue is Bakers Hall, home to the Worshipful Company of Bakers and The Bakers’ Company, a building that can trace its origins back to 1155 making it the City of London’s second oldest guild. Delicious canapés will be provided by Berkeley Catering, one of London's leading corporate and events caterers. And of course wine and summer tipples!
