True stories, told by the people who lived them
Over 8 million of us share this city. We pass each other on the street and sit side-by-side on the bus. Many of us have come from other parts of the UK or the world, but we rarely hear about the extraordinary lives that lie behind the faces in the crowd. Inspired by the success of London Stories in 2013 and on-going public conversations about migration, we are curating a festival of true stories from people of different backgrounds who have arrived in London and made this city their new home. You will travel around our building in small groups and hear powerful stories told by the people who lived them, from moving for work or love to fleeing war and persecution. Immerse yourself in an evening that reveals the personal stories behind the headlines and shines a light on our city’s rich history of migration.
