Delvendahl Martin Architects and Maccreanor Lavington are hosting a symposium which will bring together architects and urban designers who have helped shape the plans and development in the Royal Docks over many years. The Royal Docks are a rich source of memories of departures, journeys and arrivals. We will ask how the strategic vision and masterplanning proposals of the past have informed the recent and ongoing projects in the area and how these will determine the accelerating and unfolding future of the Royals. What is the place that is being created and how does it relate to previous plans?
The symposium, is part of London Festival of Architecture events taking place at Royal Albert Wharf, curated by Notting Hill Housing and Bow Arts. Royal Albert Wharf in Royal Docks is London’s historic point of global connection and now a place of arrival for residents and businesses. Places are limited but free and open to all. You can find more information, and reserve a ticket here.
