PRACTICE IN RESEARCH <> RESEARCH IN PRACTICE. A TWO-DAY SYMPOSIUM ON CREATIVE PRACTICE RESEARCH
This event will discuss and explore the nature of creative practice research, with particular focus upon the practitioner operating in the context of academic institutions and in professional settings. National and international speakers from university and practice backgrounds will convene to present their work and to explain the frameworks that allow for critical reflection of one’s practice.

EXHIBITION
The "Practice in a Box" exhibition will form a visual backbone to this two-day event. A collection of archival A4 boxes first exhibited in six European cities before coming to Australia in 2017 that display the work of architecture and design PhD candidates will be augmented by contributions from 17 local practices.

Attendees may register for one or both days, only for the keynote lectures, or any combination thereof. Please register in advance through Eventbrite Please note due to space limitations on Friday 28/7, registrations will be capped at 60 persons.
ABOUT
This event is supported by the "Design and Architecture Practice Research (DAP_r)" grant from the Australian Office of Learning and Teaching, led by RMIT in association with 14 schools of architecture and design nationally. "Practice in Research <> Research in Practice" has been organized by Bond University, QUT, and the University of Adelaide in collaboration with m3architecture.
