The winners have been revealed for the World Architecture Festival 2013 in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The three-day event, which began on Oct. 2 and ends Oct. 4, is the world's largest festival and live awards competition where architecture excellence is celebrated and shared among architects from around the globe.
Each shortlisted architect presented their projects to the WAF judging panel, which included notable names like Dietmar Eberle, Jeanne Gang and Patrick Bellew. The judges then immediately gave their feedback on the presentations.
Winners were selected in the categories Completed Buildings, Landscape Projects, and Future Projects — with sub-categories in each one. As for World Building of the Year, the Auckland Art Gallery by Australian architect FJMT took the overall winning title.
Some projects also won awards in WAF's sister event INSIDE World Festival of Interiors, which also occured in Singapore this week.
