Delaware Valley Green Building Council Student Competition

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) in Philadelphia will host its fourth annual Student Design Competition this spring. The competition, part of DVGBC’s education and outreach programs, engages regional colleges and universities in the process of sustainable design. The program is held in conjunction with the spring 2008 college and university curriculum, with winners announced in May. The first place winner also goes on to represent the region in the national U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) 2008 Natural Talent Design Competition in November. New to the regional competition this year, The Lighting Practice, a leading lighting design firm headquartered in Philadelphia, will present an award to the project with the most innovative approach to sustainable lighting design.
