17 international design experts from agencies and corporations have already marked down May 14 and 15, 2009 in their calendars - days on which all entries for the iF communication design awards 2009 will be adjudicated based on a set of category-specific criteria at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Hannover, Germany. An iF selection process which is highly regarded by our jurors guarantees a maximum of time and attention for each entry on the part of at least three design experts; their decision is then additionally confirmed via veto rounds in which all jurors participate.
Beginning in January 2009, the iF communication design award will take place for the sixth time, featuring a total of seven competition categories, as follows: digital media, product interfaces, print media, packaging, corporate architecture, cross-media and the special category “too good to be true”.
The competition is open to agencies and their clients, corporations, designers, architects and interior designers. Winning an iF award not only symbolizes outstanding design achievement, but also nets the winner points in the new iF ranking as well as the rankings of PAGE, W&V and Horizont.
