SKUUMA Soft Surface Design Competition 2008

SKUUMA creates opportunities for design talent.

With SKUUMA and our partners in design, we wish to give design talent from all over the world equal opportunities to see their design realized and added to the SKUUMA home and office design collection. It’s the only design label that creates its collection through global design competitions. We select the best designs and turn them into successful products.

All designers earn a lifelong percentage of the turnover of their winning design. This will give them a financial and creative head start into the notoriously exclusive world of design.
 
The SKUUMA design competition invites you to show the world your concept for an original new piece of design, with the components foam (polyurethane) and special coating. From functional to funky, it’s the uniqueness of your vision that really counts in this global competition. 
 
The 5 winners will have their designs manufactured and added to the SKUUMA home and office collection, which will be shown on special locations around the world. The winners will be announced at the Dutch Design Week 2008, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in the SKUUMA exhibition stand. We hope you will be a winner and join us there.
