Due to many requests and the success of our East Hampton Design Within Reach event, we are scheduling a second Andrew Geller fundraising event - this time in Manhattan. Andrew Geller is best known for designing midcentury free-spirited vacation housing throughout the Northeast and his work with Raymond Loewy. His designs were extremely influential and helped shape the modern esthetic. You can help preserve Geller's architectural archive, consisting of thousands of drawings and photographs, as well as models and correspondence, by participating in a special informative fundraising event. Please join us at Design Within Reach in Manhattan on October 27th from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Documentary filmmaker Jake Gorst will narrate a slide lecture highlighting Geller's life and work and will speak about the Andrew Geller architecture archive preservation project.
