Thursday, Feb 19, 20096:31 AMEDT

Los Angeles, CA | Los Angeles, CA

Benjamin H. Bratton is Associate Professor of Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego, and a member of the SCI_Arc faculty since 2001. This reading will be drawn from recent writings, talks, publications (for Purple, AD:Architectural Design, O'Reilly eTech 2009 and others) on topics ranging from iPhones to art forgeries and from the design logic of terrorism to the reappearance of program in architectural representation. Bratton's work links architectural theory to contemporary politics and software studies, and apocryphal fiction to projective design policy. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 7:00pm - 8:30pm W.H.
