An introduction by Gaurav Srivastava on EDAW's research on global city densities will lead the forum into a discussion about densifying Los Angeles. Discussion questions and topics to include: What is dense? How dense should Los Angeles be? What is the vision for density in Los Angeles? Which density models and solutions have been used around the country and the world? Feel free to bring photos or boards of visual materials to illustrate your ideas (no electronic files, please). 8.15 pm: The Social The Daily Grill 612 S. Flower Street at Flower and 6th The Emerging Urban Designers Forum is part of the AIA/LA Urban Design Committee meeting at urban design offices around Los Angeles to discuss the practice and future of urban design in LA. The forum will be from 7-8:15 pm to discuss relevant topics and explore the work and offices of fellow designers. Forum topics and locations are to be decided by the group each month.
