Open Debate: Has Dublin Changed For The Better?

The Irish Architecture Foundation presents as part of Open House Dublin 2008, a debate: Has Dublin Changed For The Better? The event will be held in the Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin on October 16, 6.30pm, Admission free. No booking necessary. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The economic boom of the past fifteen years has undoubtedly manifested itself in an architectural renaissance and the city has seen immense growth and development. But has Dublin really changed for the better? A panel of speakers with a passion for our built environment will lead this public debate from an economic, political and social perspective.

Chaired by: Broadcaster and Historian, John Bowman, the speakers include: Senator Ivana Bacik; Jay Bourke, Entrepreneur; CiarĂ¡n Cuffe, TD; Ali Grehan, Dublin City Architect; Grainne Hassett, Architect; Jesse Jones, Artist; Don Murphy, VMX Architects.
