MEET AND MATCH A Celebration of Community Based Design Join us at MEET AND MATCH, a celebration of community-based design. Meet and Match provides an opportunity for Chicago designers and non-profit, community-based organizations to meet face-to-face and match design needs with design services. OWPP/Cannon Design Open Hand Studio, Converge:Exchange, Architecture for Humanity-Chicago, Archeworks, and AIA Chicago Community Interface are offering a unique opportunity for non-profits, community groups and others to meet with pro-bono design organizations and engage in a discussion about community needs, value of design in addressing organizational issues, ways in which other organizations have worked with designers, and partnership opportunities that can initiate new projects and address current issues. The event will have two parts: a daytime Networking & Resource Fair featuring community organizations, pro-bono design organizations including architects, interior designers, landscape designer, graphic/information design, art groups, and product/organizational designers, and an evening of quick and compelling presentations followed by refreshments and informal networking.
