Where:  London, UK - Jarvis Hall, RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD
When:   Thursday, September 11, 2008

This year’s lecture considers how we need to change our approach to urban design to create economically, culturally and environmentally sustainable communities that are truly inclusive and reflect the aspirations of today’s diverse society. It features contributions from Peter Morrison, CEO, RMJM Group, Yaw Osseo-Asare, Harvard Graduate School of Design and a special VIP guest to be announced.

The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust is a national educational charity established to dismantle barriers to participation in architecture and urban design and to help young people find pathways out of poverty and into these professions. Each year the RIBA hosts a Memorial Lecture to honour Stephen Lawrence’s memory, inspired by his dream of becoming an architect.
