In celebration of the publication of Above the Pavement – The Farm!, join WORKac’s Amale Andraos and Dan Wood for an evening on sustainable infrastructure. The book – chronicling the office’s installation in MoMA P.S.1’s courtyard, as part of the Young Architects Program – includes contributions by artist and agricultural activist Fritz Haeg, architectural historian Meredith TenHoor, architect Winy Maas, and head chef Michael Anthony of New York City’s Gramercy Tavern. TenHoor will present her research on “The Architect’s Farm,” Andraos and Wood will be joined by project collaborators in a dramatic reading of the oral history of the project, and Adam Michaels of project projects will discuss the book’s design.
This program is free and open to all. Seating first-come, first-served. Reception and booksigning to follow.
Co-sponsored by The Architectural League of New York and McNally Jackson Books.
