Vancouverism: Westcoast Architecture + City-building The Vancouverism exhibition will be taking place in and around Canada House from the 24th of June until the 10th of September. With the theme of fresh approaches to high-density urban architecture this specially commissioned exhibition will feature drawings, photographs and scale models of some of the most dramatic new urban architecture in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Spanning buildings and Vancouver’s stunning urbanism, the exhibition focuses on recent work by architects Bing Thom, James Cheng, engineers Fast + Epp and the dean of Canadian architects, Arthur Erickson. To accompany the exhibition inside Canada House, the exterior of the building will host a stunning temporary sculptural installation, the Trafalgar Square Demonstration Construction, designed by Bing Thom architects and Fast + Epp structural engineers giving it a dynamic new appearance when viewed from Trafalgar Square.
