This exhibition showcases the ideas of six architects — Yohannes Baynes, Begum Baysan, Erin Horahan, Casey Hughes, Ryan Martinez, and Cody Miner — who examine L.A.'s homelessness crisis and its relationship to the “American Dream”.

A Universal History of Infamy | Opening on August 20
“Referencing the title of a genre-bending collection of stories by Jorge Luis Borges, A Universal History of Infamy uses multiple venues across Los Angeles to present new works by more than 15 boundary-defying artists and collectives.”

Oracle | Open now until September 3
“From everyday experiences to protest movements as monumental as the Arab Spring uprisings across the Middle East, to themes that probe systems of social control or examine global commerce, artworks in Oracle tackle the effects of organizational frameworks on global events and private individuals.” Open at The Broad until September 3, the four-month installation features works by over 20 artists.

2017 California-Pacific Triennial | Open now until September 3
If you're hanging around Newport Beach, stop by the Orange County Museum of Art for their second California-Pacific Triennial exhibition, which explores various issues related to “architecture and the temporal precariousness of the built environment”. The survey showcases a range of site-specific works and never-before-seen works by artists and designers based around the Pacific Rim.
