international open architectural competition "CONCEPT OF RESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF KYIV ISLANDS

Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv Central Agency for Urban Planning, Architecture and Urban Design with the support of National Union of Architects of Ukraine are pleased to announce OPEN INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION « CONCEPT OF RESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF KYIV ISLANDS ».
The competition is one-stage and registration fee free.
Architects, urban planners, landscape architects and designers who are licensed specialists and hold a degree in the relevant field can take part in the Competition.
Contestants are requested to submit the best concept of preservation and development of Kyiv islands.  Those entering the competition are able to download all information for design through official contest website http://competition-kievislands.com/ where the details on how to enter can be found as well.
The winner is chosen by jury among all Participants. International architects are more than welcome to compete.
Prizes
First Prize - $20,000 (twenty thousand US dollars)
two Second prizes - $5,000 (five thousand US dollars) each
Additionally, the author of the winning project has the priority right to continue working on the project of conservation and development of Kyiv islands.
