Richard Kozul-Wright, Director of the UNCTAD, estimates an impact that will cost the world economy around $1 trillion, expecting the worst scenario than the financial collapse in 2008.

Propose a visionary project that helps to revive the economy of a region, city or community affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

( WHAT TO DO )

(1) Choose the PROGRAMME.

(2) Choose the SECTOR to reactivate (eg.: tourism, culture, industrial, sports, health, etc).

(3) Choose the SOCIAL issue to solve (eg.: unemployment, lack of health services, poverty, housing, local business, etc).

(4) Choose LOCATION where to develop your project.

= Develop your project integrating a strong economic solution to reactivate the chosen city, community or region. 

 ( COMPETITION GUIDELINES )

(A) Competition is open to all, and no professional qualification is required.  

(B) Design proposals can be developed individually or by teams (4 team members maximum). 

(C) Participants are free to experiment and explore the subject.  

(D) The architectural concept helps to reactivate the economy from specific region, city or community.

THE ARK will award a total of £2500 in prize money to competition winners as follows: 

• 1st Prize = £ 1500 
• 2nd Prize = £ 600
• 3rd Prize = £ 400
