Scope of Work:

Title: Conceptual Design Competition for 60,000 square meter land

Objective: To develop a conceptual design proposal for a 60,000 square meter land located in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia with the aim of creating a world-class boarding school facility. The competition aims to bring innovative and creative design solutions that can help transform the land into a hub of education and student life.

Eligibility: Open to all architecture and design students and professionals worldwide.

Registration: The competition is open for registration starting today, and will close in two days.

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting the conceptual design proposal is 10 days after the end of the registration period.

Submission Requirements:

• A detailed concept report (maximum 10 pages) including site analysis, design concept, program requirements, sustainability considerations, and future development potential.
• A set of 3-dimensional renderings and images (minimum 5 and maximum 10 
• images) that clearly convey the proposed design.
• A 2D site plan with clear indication of land use, building footprints, outdoor spaces, and circulation.
• A 2D floor plan(s) of the proposed building(s).
• A 2D section(s) that clearly indicate the building height, floor to floor height, and major internal spaces.

Evaluation Criteria:

• Creativity and originality of the design concept.
• Suitability and feasibility of the design solution to the specific site and program requirements.
• Sustainability considerations and potential for future development.
• Clarity and effectiveness of the visual representation of the design proposal.

Award: The winning conceptual design proposal will be awarded and will be considered for implementation.
