2024 DesignTO Festival Calls for Submissions

Taking place across the city of Toronto January 19-28, 2024, the annual DesignTO Festival is a city-wide celebration of design's role in creating a sustainable, just, and joyful world. Featuring a wide range of events, exhibitions, and installations, the Festival showcases the best of local and international design. If you're interested in contributing an Independent Project, participating as a Host Venue, or submitting to one of the DesignTO curated projects, now's your chance!

Integral to the Festival's structure, Independent Projects are exhibitions, events (e.g. tours, talks, workshops), and window installations that are wholly created and executed by an individual or organization during the DesignTO Festival. Independent Projects are held at a venue of the organizers choice and can take place in-person or online.

We welcome submissions from all who want to present, discuss, demonstrate, or exhibit design in any field and/or related disciplines.

Independent Projects application deadline: Friday, October 6, 2023
